Cylinder Head Oil Drain Kit for Nissan RB20, RB25, RB26 & RB30
A head oil drain kit is designed by Franklin Performance to help reduce excessive oil build-up in the cylinder head of Nissan RB twin cam engines – a common problem on the drag strip, drift track and occasionally on the street.
This kit helps drain oil back to the sump instead of it building up in the head, where it often ends up forced out of tappet cover breathers and catch cans.
The head drain fitting features a compact, lightweight design. An 8AN O-ring port enables compact plumbing, and slotted holes allow multiple mounting options to suit all engines – the fitting is positioned at an angle to achieve the required clearance around the gearbox.
To fit the oil drain, the frost plug at the rear of the head is removed and two M6 holes are tapped into the rear of the head. The supplied 10AN weld-on fitting is welded to the sump, or our 10AN adaptors for RB26 rear turbo oil return ports can be used on a single-turbo RB26 engine.
